Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Hogwarts is the main setting of the Harry Potter books, being the world's premier school of magic. Founded approximately
1000 years before the books begin, that is ~ 1000 A.D., Hogwarts has long been a centerpiece of the wizarding world.
The four Hogwarts Houses are named after the four founding members of the school, and the members of each house are chosen
for the qualities most prized by each founder. Those four founders were Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff
and Salazar Slytherin.
