Gryffindor. House of the brave, Harry's house

Gryffindor is home to the heroes and heroines of the Harry Potter books. The members of Gryffindor are brave, daring and chivalrous. Whilst Harry might lean toward Slytherin, Hermione toward Ravenclaw and Ron toward Hufflepuff, they each have that quality of courage which affords acceptance in Gryffindor house. All the Weasley children are or were in Gryffindor. Albus Dumbledore himself was supposedly a Gryffindor in his time. The Gryffindor common room is in a tower, guarded by a portrait known as the Fat Lady. None may pass unless they first give the Fat Lady the current password.
