Cedric Diggory, prefect, ladies man, and the captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. Cedric Diggory has it all, but can he beat Harry Potter in the Triwizard Tournament?

Cedric Diggory makes his first appearance in the third Harry Potter book, as a fifth year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the fourth book (the Goblet of Fire), he is seventeen years old and a sixth year. His father is Amos Diggory. Amos works in the Ministry of Magic alongside Arthur Weasley in the Magical Creatures department. Cedric is a "Ladies' Man," but he's also a modest one, he attracts the girls because he's very good looking and slim and muscled from several years of playing Quidditch.
Cedric Diggory is a prefect and the Captain and Seeker of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. He is a very good player and even beat Harry Potter and the Gryffindor team once. Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor team captain, says he has a very fast swerve. The broom he uses is probably a Cleansweep Seven or a Comet Two-Sixty. His wand is twelve and a quarter inches, made of ash, and contains a hair from a particularly fine male unicorn which was seventeen hands high. He takes good care of it and polishes it often.
Cedric Diggory was the chosen by the Goblet of Fire to be Hogwarts champion for the Triwizard Tournament. He did pretty well in the competition, too. In the first task, he managed to transfigure a rock into a dog, although he got a burn on the side of his face from the Swedish Short-Snout dragon. In the second task, he did the Bubblehead spell and managed to cut Cho Chang free. After the first two tasks, he was tied with Harry for first place and they continued to battle it out to be the first to reach the cup.
