Angelica Mandy plays the character of Gabrielle Delacour in the forthcoming Goblet of Fire film. This is the second film that Angelica Mandy has starred in following 2004's Vanity Fair where she played the role of young Becky Sharp.The older version of this character is played by Reese Witherspoon and is the main character in the film.

The story begins in 1802 with Becky, the daughter of a painter and a French opera singer, growing up poor in London. In an opening scene, the young Becky is giving a puppet show in her father's studio, when a "gentleman", later to be identified as the Marquess of Steyne (played by Gabriel Byrne), comes in to buy a painting. It is the last picture of her mother, who is no longer alive, and she shows her business acumen by managing to obtain ten guineas for the painting for which her father is only asking three.

We next see Becky being taken to a boarding school as a charity case, since her parents are both now deceased, and flip forward 10 years or so (where Witherspoon takes over Angelica Mandy's role), as Becky leaves the school to start her life, in the company of her good friend Amelia. The film charts her rise as she defies her poverty-stricken background and ascends the social ladder.

Angelica Mandy's Harry Potter character, Gabrielle Delacour, is a student at the French wizarding school Beauxbatons and is the younger sister of their Triwizard Tournament champion Fleur Delacour. Her age in The Goblet of Fire is estimated by Harry to be no older than eight years old. Like her sister Fleur, Gabrielle is actually partly non-human; their grandmother was a Veela.
